— MY FRIENDS CALL ME, RICK I don’t say this often, but these two holidays — Christmas and Easter — hit me deeper than anything else in my life. They always have.

Christmas – More Than a Holiday Think about this…The God who created the universe — the One who spoke everything into existence — chose to come to earth as a human. Born through a young virgin girl. Grew up like we did. Faced with what we face. Walked where we walked. He chose twelve ordinary men… and taught them what God’s love really looks like. All this alone is hard to wrap my mind around. Then….

— EASTER

“Easter – The Part That Undoes Me” The God of all Creation laid aside His power…Allowed Himself to be nailed to a cross…And while He hung there, He took on the sins of all humanity — past, present, and future. Three days later, He walked out of that tomb alive. Then spent 40 days encouraging His disciples… And finally returned to the Father, promising the Holy Spirit would come.

“What! He Did That For Me” When I was 21, I asked Jesus into my life. And He did exactly what He promised — He sent the Holy Spirit to live inside me. Even now, it brings tears to my eyes that…The God of all Creation…Would love me that much. That He’d be born on Christmas…Die on Easter…And rise again…Just so I could be free.

“You’re loved more than you know.” If nobody has told you today… let me be the one. “God loves you more than you can imagine.” He has a purpose, and a plan for your life. Let Jesus in and watch Him work in your life just like He does in mine, every day.
